The Architect Behind the Framework:
Justice Bomer, a Western Michigan University alumnus based in Kalamazoo, spent years observing the systemic failures of traditional media. His early commissioned work documenting complex educational developments and partnerships for WMU revealed a critical truth: Generic video content fails to solve the high-cost problems of institutional ambiguity and talent acquisition. He recognized that traditional corporate video, which avoids vulnerability and conflict, was actually increasing risk by setting unrealistic expectations for recruits and leaving investors with doubt.
This insight led to the creation of CineArchitect and the methodology tested in The Chase. The high-stakes nature of documenting a first-ever CEO-in-Residence (CIR) search—a project defined by action, tension, and tough conversations—forced the development of a better way. The insight from The Chase was clear: We successfully connected a new financial pursuit to the shared legacy of West Michigan, one that eliminates the fear of extraction and transient leadership.
